This year, he participated in international conferences organized in our Republic (Bukhara, Khorezm regions).

Conferences and training courses organized in the institute

About 20 researchers are working in the institute. Most of them are doctors of science, candidates of medical sciences. PQ No. 4310 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 6, 2019 "On measures to further develop the system of medical and pharmaceutical education and science" and "Measures to introduce a completely new system of training and continuous development of personnel in the field of medical sanitation" dated April 7, 2020 Parasitologist doctor, medical laboratory assistants based on Decision No. PQ-4666, in order to further improve the level of knowledge of laboratory assistants, entomologists, 36.72-hour thematic, 144-hour general training in the fields of medical parasitology and medical entomology at the L.M. Isaev Research Institute of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases under the Samarkand State Medical University, 353, 288-hour specialty training courses were organized. A laboratory for cytological diagnosis of cervical diseases was established and equipped.

A cycle training course "Cytological diagnosis of cervical diseases" was organized on the specialty "Clinical laboratory diagnostics".

On April 25, 2023, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the L.M. Isaev Institute of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases under SamDTU and the Samarkand Regional SEO and JS Department, dedicated to the "World Malaria Day" "EPIDEMIOLOGY, CLINICS, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES" was held a scientific practical seminar. At the seminar, lectures were given on the etiology, clinic, diagnosis, treatment and measures to prevent the disease. Skill classes were held for the participants of the seminar by the ITI team of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases named after L.M. Isaev at SamDTU.

This year, the Institute celebrated its 100th anniversary. In 1922-1923, L.M. Isaev was the leader of an expedition to study parasitic diseases in the Republic of Uzbekistan and founded the Institute of Medical Parasitology named after L.M. Isaev. In this regard, on June 2-3, 2023, an international conference was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the scientific research institute named after L.M. Isaev.
