On April 11 of this year, the international scientific-practical conference on "Modern achievements of molecular diagnostics in preventive medicine, clinical practice and epidemiology" started at Samarkand State Medical University. Leading scientists, experts, teachers, doctors, young scientists from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Syktyvkar (Russia) and Uzbekistan took part in the conference organized by SamSMU.
Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev, President of the Federation of Laboratory Medicine of the Russian Federation, Professor Andrey Ivanov and Deputy General Director of Vector-Best OJSC for scientific affairs, Ph.D. Eduard Agletdinov spoke about the importance of the organized conference and congratulated and thanked all the participants.
The main goal of the international scientific and practical conference was to discuss current issues of molecular medicine, clinical laboratory diagnostics, as well as to exchange the experience of specialists in a wide range of medical fields, and covered the most relevant aspects of modern laboratory and clinical medicine.
In the main part of the conference, a number of topical issues were discussed. In particular, lectures on "Modern approaches and methods of diagnosing visceral leishmaniasis", "Possibilities of molecular research methods in diagnosing chronic endometritis", "Molecular biological diagnostic methods in parasitology" and many other topics were heard.
Within the framework of the conference, the guests visited the Samarkand State Medical University and got acquainted with the conditions created in the university and the educational system. Also, a trip to the museum of the history of the university was organized, and the guests got interesting information about the establishment and development of SamSMU.
The organized international scientific and practical conference will help to implement the importance of molecular diagnostics in modern medicine, in particular, in prevention and epidemiology, and further develop services in the field. In addition, it is no exaggeration to say that the conference will contribute to the further strengthening of international scientific relations and the further modernization of medical services in our Republic.
